bug fixing: 'the condition has length > 1 and only the first element will be used'. Many thanks to the github user wkmor1 for providing the patch.

bug fixing: coefficient table in summary.speedglm is now returned without any limitation on the digits to visualize.

bug fixing: A bug concerning the model offset for speedlm(), update.speedlm() and speedglm() has been fixed.
bug fixing: A bug causing an error with function predict.speedlm() has been fixed. The error was due to missing levels from the model matrix returned by speedglm() and speedlm(). Now these are returned.
bug fixing: A bug causing an error on summary() when using speedglm.wfit, speedlm.fit and speedlm.wfit with X-matrix with no columns names has been fixed.

new wrappers drop1() and add1() also for "speedglm" objects. Now it is possible to use functions step() and stepAIC() for both speedlm and speedglm objects but objects fitted using updateWithMoreData(). Note that these functions have been poorly tested and need to be checked out more carefully.

logLik.speedglm() and print.logLik.speedglm(): logLik now takes into account the degrees of freedom returned as attribute.

speedglm(), speedglm.wfit() and shglm(): new argument "trace";
speedlm() and speedglm(): new arguments "model=FALSE", "y=FALSE", and "fitted=FALSE". By setting them to TRUE, the speedlm/speedglm object will return the model frame, the response and the fitted values, respectively.

update.speedlm(): now this is a wrapper calling either updateWithMoreData(), the new name of the old function for updating estimates with additional data, or update.default() to specify a new model formula/data (by Marco Enea and Ronen Meiri)

a bug concerning the use of argument start in speedglm with sparse matrices has been fixed. Thanks to Micheal Isaiah Love for reporting the problem.
a bug concerning arguments start, mustart and etastart in function shglm has been not fixed yet. Those arguments are currently disabled. These will be fixed (I hope) in the next versions.

the data1 dataset has been added to the package. This permits to run the second example in the help page of speedglm without using a connection to the URL "http://dssm.unipa.it/enea/data1.txt" which could fail.
argument data from shglm() changed to datafun.
a bug has been fixed using print.summary.speedlm(). Now the rounding of the t statistic in the output print works correctly.
